Insource is the Canadian Distributor of two manufacturers of Inkjet Printers covering a very broad range of applications, Kirk Rudy (NetJet, WaveJet) for industrial high production applications and Astro Machines for high quality mid and lower volume applications.

The inkjet printer is a type of computer driven device that creates a digital image by propelling droplets of ink onto a substrate. Inkjet printers are the most commonly used type of printer and range from small inexpensive desktop models to very large industrial machines covering wide format and diverse substrates.

The concept of inkjet printing originated in the 19th century, and the technology was first extensively developed in the early 1950s. Today the common ink jet technology is Continuous (CU), Thermal (TIG) and Piezo (DOD).
